Zell Lurie Institute Represented at the First Seminar for the Biointerfaces Institute

The University of Michigan’s Biointerfaces think tank put their heads together last Thursday to discuss entrepreneurial opportunities in the medicine and medicine technology fields. The Zell Lurie Institute’s faculty member and entrepreneur-in-residence Jim Price spoke at the event as the business expert.

The Biointefaces think tank consists of 20-30 labs that are working to develop the next wave of medical improvements and their event had more than 120 people participating in the seminar, from PhD professors, post-docs and PhD students in a range of scientific and engineering disciplines, plus MDs and DDSs. Price hopes to further engage these professionals in the potential for their research to transform into business ventures.
