Reda Jaber, MBA ’14, is the co-author of Visionary Kids, a children’s book series about entrepreneurs and innovators. The series hopes to inspire children to think creatively and encourage aspirations to one day start their own companies.
Jaber and Sara Abraham, a University of Michigan Global Health undergraduate student, came up with the idea after realizing that entrepreneurship brings the child out in oneself. They conducted research into childrens books and saw an opportunity to teach children, through the minds of successful entrepreneurs, about the benefits, risks and barriers of the entrepreneur’s journey.
The team is in the midst of a Kickstarter campaign (ending March 27), to publish their first book which features Steve Jobs’ road to entrepreneurship.
